KillSwitch in Melbourne

Over the Past few months I have met some really rad people in the scene over east. Played a wiked Undergound warehouse party hosted by Colleteral Damage and PTA featuring Raiden which was wild.

Last week another event hosted by Colleteral Damage and PTA brought Nanotek to our shores for a messy night out. Was looking forward to this as I had organized a LIVE set with Chris from Of God.

Since my time here I have been very busy in the studio with Of God working on some dirty colabs for Hell's Basement, and also found some time to fly over to Canberra to catch up with me old pal Centaspike, which was a crazy night of all sorts of mayhem which resulted in us making some loud noizes in the lab on halloween.

Its been a long few months for myself and am now looking forward to getting back to Perth and finishing off some projects that were started before I left.

Sounding from England and at just 22 years of age, Spor has quickly risen to the forefront edge of Drum & Bass production.

With early influences coming from the likes of Hive, Ram Trilogy and Bad Company, Spor began experimenting making his own tunes, not long after he landed an exclusive deal with Renegade Hardware and Barcode, leading to his first ever set at London's legendary club 'The End'. Things have pretty much only gotten bigger, badder and more bass heavy for the man of many talents, his more electro flavoured alias FEED ME has also been getting praise the world over, releasing an EP and working with everyone whos anyone.

Part of a small nucleus of South London based Dubstep innovators, Distance has been a name on everyone's lips since day one. He is widely recognized as having helped to lay the foundations of what dubstep is and develop what it has become.

Distance's recorded output is also formidable, finding homes on labels as underground and seminal as Hotflush, Destructive and Boka in his early career, to ending up on the world reputed Planet Mu, on which Distance released his debut album in 2007. Also that year he started his own stable, Chestplate. A label set up with the intention of showcasing the freshest of his own productions which have been destroying dances and flooring radio listeners ever since. After just a handful of releases it is already established as one of the increasingly few, 'buy-on-sight' dubstep labels.

DISTANCE'S onslaught looks set to continue with the recent announcement of a second full length album on Planet Mu!

Inhibit was born in August 2006 as a monthly local night in the backroom of an Irish pub, and has since evolved into one of Australis'a most recognized and prolific drum & bass crews.
